What to do in Steamboat Springs Aug 27 - Sept 2

There's a chill in the air morning and night in Steamboat Springs, and the Aspen trees have traces of gold at their extremities. Fall is just around the corner. The days, however, are idyllic: 70-80 degree temperatures and there's only blazing sunshine and blue skies in the forecast.

This is perhaps the first weekend this summer that Steamboat hasn't had a huge festival (such as the All Arts Festival, Steamboat Wine Festival or even the Balloon Rodeo back in July). Personally, I think this is a fantastic weekend to indulge in all that Steamboat has to offer without the distraction of big events to take up all your time! The wildflowers are still blooming and the trails are in perfect shape for hiking and mountain biking.

The event line-up for the next week includes the Steamboat Triathlon, the Farmers Market and a number of musical acts throughout Steamboat's bars and restaurants.
