The Grass is Green and Steamboat is Sweet! Events and Activities for June 4-June 10, 2010

Spring in Steamboat is a sight to be seen with the brilliant green of new grass and happy trees and the sweet smell of summer fun in the air! Town is hustling and bustling this weekend with the Annual Steamboat Marathon, great downtown restaurant deals, beautiful weather and plenty of restaurant decks to enjoy a beer while listening to the river and soaking in the sun…ahhh summer.

  • First Friday Artwalk: Various venues, 5 to 8 p.m. Free
    Galleries and businesses will host art displays during today’s First Friday Artwalk. Downtown Steamboat Springs.
Saturday June 5, 2010
  • Ranch Rodeo: Brent Romick Rodeo Arena, 10 a.m. Free
    The Northwest Family Ranch Rodeo hosted by the Routt County 4-H Youth Exchange starts at 10 a.m. with gymkhana events and moves to a ranch rodeo at 1 p.m. There are fees to participate, but the events are free to watch.
  • Toad King: Ghost Ranch Saloon, 9 p.m. $5 cover.
