Ford Mustang Roundup Event Just in Time for Father’s Day!

Revving engines, waxed shining paint, smooth leather interior and lots of horse power! Get dad up here and see these supped up cherried-out Ford Mustangs in Steamboat Springs, Co.

If you haven’t decided what to do for your dad on Father’s Day- this is it! Especially if he has ever liked a car! Over 500 Mustangs from the Rocky Mountain Mustang Clubs will convene downtown on Oak Street to make all the spectators oohh and ahhh and sing “Lord won’t you buy me a Ford Mustang…and a Mercedes Benz would be nice too!”

Events for the weekend include Autocross on Friday from 7:30am- 4:30pm which is a timed course event at the Meadows Parking Lot. Saturday is the Car Show with all 500 or more Mustangs lining downtown Oak Street (just one block off of main street) just showing off all their horse power, shiny paint jobs and beautiful interiors on all makes and models of the Mustang. Don’t miss the Shelbys and my favorite year, the 1969’s! Sunday morning at 10am will be the final yeehaw for these Mustangs with the Car Show awards held at the Steamboat Grand.

This is a perfect weekend to get away to Steamboat for Father’s Day! And even if the whole family is not car fans, there is shopping all along Main Street that will make the ladies drool and Saturday also hosts the free family fun fest. Drop off Dad to see the cars and take the kids to have some fun!
