Balloon Rodeo, Art in the Park, Strings Music Makes for a Fantastic Steamboat Weekend.

Steamboat air will be filled with hot air balloons, music and art- we are absolutely full to the brim with awesome events this coming weekend July 10 & 11, 2010.

The weekend kicks off Friday night with Strings Music Festival performance by Brent Rowan & Friends. Rowan will also welcome Nashville Songwriter Hall of Famer's Mike Reid and Hugh Prestwood to the Strings stage at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $40 dollars.

Go to bed early or stay up all night cause the Steamboat Balloon Rodeo starts Saturday morning at the Bald Eagle Lake at 6am! It's an early start but to watch the amazing colors and so many balloons as they inflate and begin to float over the green Yampa valley is quite a sight.

But just to make it that much easier for our guests, ResortQuest is offering free balloon shuttles that will be running from the Torian Plum and Trappeur's Crossing locations! You can stumble out of bed to the shuttle and be conveniently dropped off and picked up from the event.
