Steamboat's Emerald City Opera Season starts this week!

The Emerald City Opera 2009 summer festival has begun! Please join us at the opening concert this Tuesday, July 21st at 6pm at the Bud Werner Memorial Library Performance Hall for the Arias Concert performed by members of the 2009 Opera Artist Institute.

Mainstage Opera Production:

The Elixir of Love by Donizetti

• August 8, 13 & 15, 2009 at 7pm
  Location: Julie Harris Theater on the Perry-Mansfield campus
  This hilarious comedy is set the 1800's American West and sung in English. Emerald City Opera's mainstage production features singers from the Metropolitan Opera and participants of the Opera Artist Institute in one of the repertoire's most comedic operas.
