  • First Friday Art Walk: Downtown Steamboat 5-8pm Free!
    Galleries, Museums and alternative venues showcase work by local artists in the monthly event celebrating the arts.
  • Hometown Heroes Celebration: Downtown Steamboat: Free!
    Watch the parade on Lincoln Ave at 6:30pm and then gather on the Courthouse Lawn at 7:00 pm- Welcome home our Olympic Athletes

  • 35th Annual Assets Easter Egg Hunt: Howelsen Hill: 11am
    The City of Steamboat Springs and Grand Futures of Routt County host this Easter egg hunt. Bring your own baskets and wear boots!
  • Dirty Heads & Rail Rodeo, Steamboat Rocks the Boat Free Concert: 3pm at Gondola Square.Come out for the Free Concert featuring the Dirty Heads, a band from California rocking skater attitude, roots of reggae, rock and hip hop. Rail Rodeo will be happening simultaneously at the base of the mountain.

  • Easter- Pancake Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt: Steamboat Lake Visitors Center: 8-11am
    Easter egg hunts are at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. for children 8 and younger; bring a basket. The meal includes pancakes, sausage, coffee and orange juice. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 2 to 12 and free for children younger than 2. Call Hillary at 871-4559.

    Yampa Valley Boys provide entertainment, Dori McNeill teaches roping and Yampatika naturalists offer interpretive programs at this semi-weekly event running through April 8.. The programs are at the fire pit in front of One Steamboat Place in Gondola Square.

    Formerly a six-piece, roots reggae act Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad has pared its lineup to four, distilling a reggae and dub sound. Tickets are $10 at the door.

  • Pirate Theatre presents “Elementary School Musical” :The Steamboat Grand, 8 p.m.
    No local, national or international issue is off-limits in this original comedy put on by local spoof group Pirate Theatre. The show features music, dancing, a celebrity appearance and more. Tickets are $20 and are available in advance at All That Jazz. Shows continue April 9 and 10.
