St. Patrick's Day Celebrations Are Keeping Steamboat Afloat with Green Beer

St. Patrick’s Day is here and the ‘Boat is floating on green beer, bubbly jams and fireworks!

The best places to be on this lucky Irish night will be to start out early on the mountain at Slopeside where they will be rocking out to Kip Attaway starting at noon. Get some grooves, some green beer, sunshine and search for that pot of gold. Tonight head to Gondola Square for the 7:30 pm Torchlight Parade and Fireworks put on by Steamboat Ski Resort. If you stay on the mountain find your way back to Slopeside or a little fancier at Café Diva then head to the Tugboat Bar and Grill for the John McKay Band playing at 10 p.m.

If all the green beer floats you to downtown Steamboat tonight, all the live music will aid in the pub crawl! These bands will give serious motivation to hear them all.

The Boathouse is starting early with Sam Ayer playing his acoustic rock from 4 pm till 7 pm, then on to the Broken Everlys at 10 pm.
Do your leprechaun dance up to the Tap House at 10pm to dance to DJs Also Starring, Ricky Prime and Pretty Ninja will be turning out some beats on 4 turntables.
Cross over to Old Town Pub who claim themselves the Guinness capital of Steamboat, to hear Chris Duarte and Bluestone Company starting at 9:30 throwing down some psychedelic blues and they just returned from a tour in Japan.
Cross over again to hit up Ghost Ranch Saloon where you will hear Euforquestra starting at 9pm. They are a 4 piece band known for their rock-style music with horn infusion.

If you are feeling a good celebration that includes your couch swing by Central Park Liquors who are having great St. Patrick’s Day liquor deals and then grab dinner to make at home from the Steamboat Meat and Seafood Co. who has a whole Irish menu planned for you!
