1-Cafe Diva- It is almost torturous to work next door to such an enticing restaurant. Everyday, on our brief passing of Cafe Diva on our way here to there, we are treated to the scents emitting from the restaurant. Ingredients supplied by small farms and ranches, and Chef Kate's fascinating abilities make this one of Steamboat's most coveted locations for a romantic meal with your significant other, or an impressive choice for anyone to suggest for a comforting evening meal. Although it was difficult to have my co-workers choose their favorites from the winter menu, we managed to narrow it down to three: try the elk tenderloin, easily the best on the mountain; for a tasty appetizer, try the duck confit and MouCo cheese crispy spring rolls; or for an interesting sandwich, try the peanut butter and bacon sandwich. 2-Mazzola's Majestic Italian Diner-Steamboat Springs knows Italian food! Located in beautiful downtown Steamboat Springs, the atmosphere at Mazzola's is one of the best. Whether your interested in a family meal with the kids, or a quick meal at the bar with friends, you'll find the cure for what ails you at Mazzola's.
