Steamboat's Strawberry Hot Springs- Natural Wonders

(This blog is written by Lizzie Sack, a Steamboat Local and our Trappeur's Front Desk manager.)

Ever wonder where the Springs in "Steamboat Springs" comes from? Discover first hand at the world renowned Strawberry Park Hot Springs.

Nestled far back in the serene Rocky Mountains is a place one only hears about in fairy tales.

Unwind after a long day of skiing through Steamboat's famous Champagne Powder by relaxing in 104 degree natural mineral water while absorbing the breath taking views of the forest around you and having snow fall from the starry sky above.

After changing in authentic tee-pee make your choice between three separate pools making it easy to relax into the unique stone masonry, completely clear your head and let your muscles and mind fully loosen up.

Not a skier?  The Strawberry Park Hot Springs is just as beautiful during the day.  Spend a whole day there perhaps starting with a massage in a private hut or watsu therapy in a private pool.  After your massage spend the day soaking in the beauty while resting in the Hot Springs.  Learn more about the Strawberry Hot Springs.

Contact our Concierge to arrange your tour to the Strawberry Hot Springs along with any massage or water therapy treatment!  Also when you stay with ResortQuest Steamboat you will receive great lodging deals for some of the best luxury accommodations in Steamboat!  View our properties now and book online to automatically receive the deals.

Keep in mind that this is a serious 4-wheel drive road and we highly suggest that guest book an inexpensive ride through the multiple companies that shuttle guests to the hot springs.  Also know that after dark there is only moonlight to guide you down the steps and no children are allowed after dark because the Strawberry Park Hot Springs becomes clothing optional.
